Thank you to all the speakers and volunteers who made Ignite Missoula v.2, sponsored by Pyron Technologies, such a stunning success! What a night! The format is half the fun with Ignite--speakers are allowed 20 slides that auto-forward every 15 seconds, whether they're ready or not. Organized by volunteers in the local geek community and presented free of charge to their communities, Ignite talks range from "How to Buy a Car" to "Hacking Chocolate" to Transhuman Technology Trends With “Twittering Plants." See below for Ignite Missoula v. 2 lineup of 5 minute presentations. Ignite events were originally conceived as technology variety shows, but they have grown into communities. Ignite was started in Seattle in 2006 by Brady Forrest, O’Reilly conference chair and technology writer, and Bre Pettis, entrepreneur. Since then hundreds of 5 minute talks have been given across the world. There are thriving Ignite communities in Seattle, Boulder, Portland, Paris, and NYC. Ignite Missoula is the first Ignite community in Montana. Ignite v.2: Andrew Clark - What is Tangential Design? Eric Fulton - Creating Beneficial Circumstances
